My Experience:

I graduated from Union University with a Bachelor of Arts, where I majored in journalism and minored in photojournalism. I served as Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor of my university’s award-winning student-led magazine, the Cardinal & Cream, and completed internships in communications, writing, copy editing, photography, and social media.

I have worked for Lifeway Christian Resources, where I served as an internal communications intern, and theCO as a communications intern. I now work as a Marketing Coordinator and Account Manager at B3 Creative Agency, located in Jackson, Tennessee.

I have also received multiple awards for my Opinion/Editorial Writing:

  • First place for Best of the South Opinion/Editorial Writer at the 2025 Southeast Journalism Conference, competing again every school in the SEC, along with many other Conference USA and Sunbelt programs.

  • First Place in Opinion/Editorial Writing in the 2025 Baptist Communicators Awards, along with the News Writing Grand Prize (Perfect Score).

    My husband and I got married in May of 2025, and are currently settled in Jackson, TN.

    I love spending time with my parents, my brother & sister-in-law, and my two perfect nephews!

    Fall leaves & Gilmore Girls go hand in hand for me and I love nothing more than a perfectly crisp October day.

    You’ll almost always find me with an iced latte or a warm cup of black coffee in hand.

    I enjoy writing creatively, whether it’s opinion and editorial essays, or fiction and non-fiction personal projects.

    I’ve been to eight countries and three continents and can’t wait to explore more!

    I am a huge cat and dog-lover, but I’ll try to get pretty much any animal to sit still long enough for me to pet them.
